This is the second edition of this book. It is a superb book with lots of information on collecting all kinds of tools. There are 80 catagories of tools covered. 11/ EDWARD PRESTON & SONS 1909 CATALOGUE No 18 REPRINT printed by THE ASTRAGAL PRESS

Large catalogue by this most famous Birmingham tool maker re-printed from an original catalogue owned by Jane & Mark Rees. It lists some 600 rules and 300 levels plus their extensive range of planes and other joiners tools. It also contains a 26 page introduction by Mark Rees which deals with the history of the firm, working practises, designs, patents (of which Preston had many) and trademarks of the firm. Paper back

An ORIGINAL Cleaveland Twist Drill Co. catalogue dated 1929. A huge and interesting catalogue of their complete range of drills, reamers, screw extractors, arbors, mandrels, sockets, mills, counterbores and a full range of high speed steel tools. The Cleaveland company where an American company based in Cleaveland, Ohio but also had a Great Britain branch in London. This was obviously there British catalogue. Very good clean condition.
