PLEASE NOTE THE TERMS OF BUSINESS BELOW APPLY TO THE TOOLS FOR SALE, SPARES AND BOOKS PAGES ONLY and not to the catalogue tools list which is situated on a separate part of the site and has its own terms of business clearly laid out there.

Please find set out on this page the terms of business under which all sales on this web site are carried out.

1/   All items are offered for sale subject to availability, we try and make sure SOLD is put next to sold items as quickly as possible but sometimes an item can be ordered twice in one night our time. If that is the case the first order received will be the one accepted.

2/   For the UK and Europe all tool and spares sales will be plus VAT at the current rate of 17.5 %

3/   For all tool and spares sales in the UK the price quoted includes postage and packaging.

4/   For all other worldwide tool sales the price quoted DOES NOT include postage. Postage will be added to the total at cost.

5/   For all SPARES PAGE 1 sales the price quoted includes postage both UK and worldwide.

6/   For all SPARES PAGE 2 sales out with the UK the price quoted DOES NOT include postage. Postage will be added to the total at cost.

7/   There is no VAT applicable on any book sales. Under current UK law all books sales are EXEMPT from VAT.

8/   For all orders of books in the UK the price quoted includes postage. All other destinations postage will be charged at cost.

METHODS OF PAYMENT

1/   We accept all the major credit cards including Amex.

2/   We accept payment by MAESTRO and SOLO.

3/   We accept payment in the UK by personal cheque and postal orders.

4/   We will also accept payment from the USA by personal cheque in dollars but there is an additional charge of £7.00 added to the invoice total to cover bank charges.

5/   We will also accept Paypal as payment from ALL destinations but there is an additional charge of 3% added to the invoice total to cover Paypal charges.

6/   We DO NOT accept International money orders from any country unless they are in STERLING.

 

METHODS OF POSTAGE

1/   In the UK all packages under 2Kg in weight will be sent either FIRST or SECOND class.

2/   In the UK all * packages over 2Kg in weight will be sent by PARCELFORCE 48 service.

* The only exceptions to this are the HIGHLANDS & ISLANDS of Scotland, NORTHERN IRELAND, certain parts of WALES, the ISLE OF MAN and the CHANNEL ISLANDS where Parcelforce operate an extended area surcharge. For these areas we will send all parcels over 2Kg by ROYAL MAIL STANDARD PARCEL service.

3/   For all International packages under 2Kg we will send via SMALL PACKETS AIR MAIL with recorded and insured added on all values over £50.

4/   For all International packages over 2Kg we will send either by UPS or PARCELFORCE STANDARD service.

5/   ALL orders are dispatched within 5 working days.

 

RETURNS

TO COMPLY WITH THE UK CONSUMER PROTECTION (distance selling) REGULATIONS 2000

1/   For all sales made through this web site submitted via the web, e-mail, fax or mobile phone we will send you an order acknowledgement via e-mail.

2/   All sales from this web site carry a 7 WORKING DAYS, after receipt of goods, no quibble refund including outward postage as long as any items returned are returned in the same condition as when sent. All refunds will be issued within 30 days of cancelling.

3/   If contents of any parcels are received damaged please contact us immediately. REFUNDS will be issued for items received damaged in transit.

4/ We will not be liable for the costs of returning any items unless we have mis-described the item concerned.
