Post war Record of Sheffield No. 05SS STAY SET jack plane. Origin al blue finish with nice shape beech handles with no damage. Near full length original blade with the famous stay set backing iron. Condition is basically good but there are one or two minor spots of discolouration to the metal in places.

Nice early (mid 19th century I would say) 14" long Traditional pattern Scottish cast metal panel plane. Cove moulded front with curved rear and nicely stop chamfered top edge to the metal. Gunmetal lever cap and very nice over-stuffed walnut and rosewood infill. Fully enclosed rear handle and lovely moulded shape front bun. Comes with its original thick parallel iron by Ward which is cast steel. Slight pitting to the metal in places but nothing really considering its age. One of the oldest of...

Pretty decent beech wedge stemmed plough plane, No. 5B by A. Mathieson & Son, Glasgow and Edinburgh with full set of 8 plough irons, all in good near full length condition. The plough plane is all original but as usual there is minor damage to the boxwood fence wedges. The set of irons are all by James Howarth except one which is by Marples. Really good usable plane.
