Almost full length original BEST CRUCIBLE CAST TUNGSTEN STEEL BLADE. Good clean metal. I've seen these war time Record planes before with different wood handles, I think during the shortages of war they were just using up available parts and obviously rosewood doesn't come from the UK !!

Old replacement Stanley USA blade. Condition is basically OK for its age but there is a small chip to the front corner of the casting and a small mouth chip. These longer ones are not all that common especially in the UK.
