Good early, 19th century, Spiers of Ayr dovetailed coffin-shaped steel smoothing plane. Gunmetal lever cap with the earliest small upside down Spiers stamp. Dark rosewood infill is in very good condition for its age apart from a very small nick to the top of the hndle spur, no cracks. Near full length thick parallel iron by Robt Sorby produces a fine mouth. Slight pitting to the sole. Pretty good condition for a plane of this age I would say.

Early 1900's Millers Falls USA No. 14 (number 5 size) bench plane in fully original condition. All original blaxck japanning, original stained beech handles and near full length original Millers Falls blade. Patented nickel plated hinged lever cap. Slight all over pitting to the metal.

Pretty good Record of Sheffield No. 05 1/2 jack plane. Most of the blue finish remains, original beech handles and full length replacement Stanley England blade. There is a small chip to the back corner of the casting which doesn't effect the use of the plane at all otherwise it is good.

9" long by 3/4" wide Spiers pattern cast metal rebate plane with dark rosewood infill and good length original snecked iron. Good tight mouth. Slight pitting to the metal in places and the wedge is possibly an old replacement, it is hard to tell for sure. Good usable plane though at a good price
