19th century Stanley USA No. 48 (Type 1) black japanned tongue and groove plane. Nice original rosewood front knob. Virtually all the original black japanning remains. Both cutters are good length 1 is original the other is a replacement. If you cut the longer one down to the same size no one would know it wasn't original. Very good condition for such an erly example.

Fine clean little used Norris of London A6 patent adjustabe dovetailed steel parallel sided smoothing plane. Gunmetal lever cap is unusual in the fact that there is no A6 stamped in the centre as normal. Stunning rosewood infill with all its original lacquer. 1922 patent adjuster. Near full length original thick parallel Norris iron and backing iron. There is slight pitting to the top of the iron which would suggest to me that the metal body of the plane may have been professionally cleaned. ...

Fine & Rare early 1900's Stanley Bedrock USA round sided No. 605 1/2 C (corrugated sole) bench plane in very good original condition. Virtually all of the original black japanning remains. April 2nd 1895 patent at the back. Very nice original rosewood handles with low front knob with no damage or cracks and near full length original blade. They don't come a lot better from this age. Well over 100 years old now !!!!

Superb basically unused Stanley of England No. 90 nickel plated adjustable bullnose plane in almost mint condition. All the original plating is in tact and it has its original full length iron. They don't come any better !!
