Good 19th century 6 1/2" long rosewood and brass tool pad with all the original tool bits inside. Screw off top with scratch line decoration. Some wear but basically good for age. Nice to have all the original bits inside.

Early 9" long by 3/4" wide dovetailed steel rebate plane by Spiers of Ayr in a slightly neglected condition. The plane is all original as all parts are number stamped the same. Rosewood infill. Snecked iron by Ward which is cast steel. Unfortunately the plane has been poorly stored at some point thus its condition. Still perfectly useable though and a cheap price.

Late model 1930's Spiers of Ayr No. 27 coffin-shaped dovetailed steel smoothing plane with the rarer FULLY ENCLOSED rear handle. Rosewood and walnut infill. Gunmetal lever cap with the later scroll script Spiers stamp. All the infill is rosewood except the enclosed handle which is walnut, (this is totally original, rivets have never been touched).
