Nicely shaped, early addition 19th century walnut bow drill. Comes with part original trade label to the handle. The metal chuck is pitted but is free and working, although the internal spring has become disintegrated. The walnut is a lovely dark brown colour. The drill itself works smoothly, measuring 9 1/2" long. Very authentic tool in good working condition. Rare find. Perfect addition to an antique tool collection.
