Superb 19th century Stanley USA No. 5 low knob jack plane in very good condition for its age. Old style frog with patented lateral adjuster and patented brass adjusting wheel. Lovely original rosewood handles with no damage and good length original 1892 patented blade. Most the original black japanning remains. Earliest number stamp to the front casting. A really nice example.
