Superb early Scottish 22" long by 3" wide cast jointing plane of a great design and heavy weight. Fabulous original condition. Good clean metal with lovely shape heart pierced gunmetal lever cap and really nice patina over-stuffed walnut infill with fully enclosed rear handle. Comes with what is almost definitely the original early Mathieson snecked blade. This is a lovely plane which will work fantastically with its weight.
