Superb, high quality, 8 1/4" long by 1 1/2" wide steel based gunmetal shoulder plane. I can't see a makers name on this plane but it is obviously factory made. Superb original figured rosewood infill with full length blade by William Marples of Sheffield which is an old replacement. Very fine mouth. The blade is slightly too narrow so could do with another one fitted the correct width but it is a very good blade.
