Spiers Plane-O-Ayr Smoother For Repair
Late model Spiers Plane-O-Ayr cast smoothing plane in need of some restoration. Original cast steel lever cap and rear handle, the rear handle free of any damage. Requires a new turned front knob (the original fixing rod is present) and a blade and backing iron. The sole is very clean. Should restore quite nicely.

1/ In the UK we send virtually all orders via PARCELFORCE 48, fully tracked and signed for.
2/ For smaller items in the UK the only other method we use is Royal Mail first class postage.
3/ For all International packages under 2Kg we will send via SMALL PACKETS AIR MAIL with recorded and insured added on all values over £50.
4/ For all EU (Euriope) packages over 2Kg we will send via PARCELFORCE EURO 48 service.
5/ For all International packages outwith Europe over 2Kg we will send by PARCELFORCE international parcel service.
5/ ALL orders are dispatched within 5 working days.

1/ For all sales made through this web site submitted via the web, e-mail, fax or mobile phone we will send you an order acknowledgement via e-mail.
2/ All sales from this web site carry a 7 WORKING DAYS, after receipt of goods, no quibble refund including outward postage as long as any items returned are returned in the same condition as when sent. All refunds will be issued within 30 days of cancelling.

Pretty decent Spiers of Ayr dovetailed steel 3/4" wide by 9" long metal rebate plane. Dark rosewood wedge and infill with good length original James Howarth of Sheffield snecked iron. There is minor damage to the top of the wedge otherwise this is a pretty decent plane.
